The DHT Story
BYAS is a Belgian-born deep house and afro house DJ in Thailand - and DHT started because that sound didn't have a home in the city yet.
BYAS - born Yasin Borry in Antwerp, Belgium, now rooted in Thailand - started Deep House Thailand after the original 2023 party with Siggi, as a collective first, an event series second. The brief was simple: a music-first platform where deep, afro, melodic and organic house could live alongside each other, and where the space mattered as much as the set.
Sixteen events in, across clubs, rooftops, pools, ice bath mornings, coffee raves, creator house parties and home sessions, the sound stayed the same while the venues kept shifting.
What BYAS Brings
BYAS blends deep house and indie dance with Afro rhythms and melodic touches. His productions and sets have reached over six million streams across Spotify, SoundCloud and YouTube.
He co-founded Deep House Thailand and founded Vibe Agency.
