It's Official: The Deep House Thailand Pool Party Series

Some announcements need a long setup. This one doesn't.

On Saturday July 18, Deep House Thailand takes over the rooftop pool at Centara Grand at CentralWorld, together with Bangkok Rooftops. Deep house, afro house and melodic house from 3 in the afternoon until 10 at night. In the water, above the city, straight through sunset.

And it's not a one-off. August 29 and September 19 are already locked. This is a series.

Rewind two years. Deep House Thailand was a rooftop party we pulled together in just over a week - DJs we loved, friends who brought friends, a skyline we definitely couldn't afford yet. It worked, so we got weirder with it: ice baths on the 48th floor of a skyscraper, because dancing after two minutes in freezing water is a feeling you don't forget. Then 150 people dancing around Porsches at 2 in the afternoon, because we figured specialty coffee and deep house belonged in the same room. Bangkok agreed - that one went viral.

Through all of it, one question kept landing in our DMs: when are you doing a pool party?

The honest answer was: when we find the right roof. A pool party lives or dies on the venue - the water, the view, the sound, the sunset angle. We didn't want a hotel podium with a speaker in the corner. We wanted the one people photograph from planes.

The rooftop pool at Centara Grand is that roof. Dead center of Bangkok, above CentralWorld, skyline in every direction. It has hosted packed techno and commercial nights for years - but it has never run on the warmer end of electronic music. That's the lane we live in. Now it has a deep house party.

Four names, one family:

Dennis Gold - the afro house heavyweight of the crew. When the sun starts dropping, he takes over.

BYAS - co-founder of Deep House Thailand. Deep, melodic and afro house, built for exactly this kind of long golden-hour arc.

Cameron Glasgow - co-founder, and the man behind some of the best-programmed nights this city has had.

Wiwa - completing the lineup and opening the water hours with the grooves that make 3 PM feel like a good decision.

3 PM - doors. Get in the pool while the sun is still high. The music starts deep and easy.

5-7 PM - the build. Afro house as the light turns gold. This is the part you'll post.

7-10 PM - sunset into skyline. Melodic house under the city lights, still warm, still in and around the water.

Bring swimwear, sunscreen and a dry layer for after dark. Towels are on the hotel. Everything else: rooftop & day party etiquette.
