DHT started because the sound didn't have a home yet in Bangkok.

BYAS — born Yasin Borry in Antwerp, Belgium, now rooted in Bangkok — co-founded Deep House Thailand in 2024 with Cameron Glasgow, as a collective first, an event series second. The brief was simple: a music-first platform where deep, afro, melodic and organic house could live alongside each other, and where the room mattered as much as the set.

Sixteen events in, across clubs, rooftops, pools, ice bath mornings, coffee raves, creator house parties and home sessions, the sound stayed the same while the rooms kept shifting.

Long hypnotic sets, slow builds, a crowd that shows up for the music rather than the hype. Six million streams and a catalog spanning Spotify, SoundCloud and YouTube. A production style that leans organic, emotional and rhythmic over loud.

At a DHT event, BYAS is usually both host and headliner — curating the lineup, setting the tone, and closing the room.
