How Much Does a Bangkok Pool Party Cost?
In most cities, a rooftop pool party means a $200 night, a dress code, and a bottle minimum. In Bangkok it's an afternoon in the sky - infinity pool, skyline, real house DJs - for the price of a nice dinner.
That's the part nobody tells you. The experience is world-class; the price just hasn't caught up yet. We throw one of these parties ourselves, so here are the real 2026 numbers - no hotel-website spin.
What You Actually Pay (2026)
| Pool party | Get in | Includes | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| SO Pool Party (SO/ Bangkok) | from 600฿ | 1 drink | Last Sat monthly |
| Beats by the Pool (W Bangkok, WET Deck) | ~900฿ | pool + DJs | Select dates |
| Westin Pool Party | ~600-900฿ | pool + DJs | 3rd Sat monthly |
| amBar / Energy (Novotel Suk 20) | ~500-800฿ | pool + DJs | 1st Sat monthly |
| Bangkok Rooftops × Deep House Thailand (Centara Grand) | advance | rooftop pool, full-day deep/afro/melodic house | Jul 18 · Aug 29 · Sep 19 |
Door vs Advance — Always Buy Ahead
Advance tickets are cheaper, and they guarantee you get in. The good ones fill up - especially on a Saturday or a long weekend. You buy online (Ticketmelon is the normal one here), show the QR at the door, done. Paying cash at the gate is the tourist tax. Don't.
Our own rooftop pool party at Centara Grand is advance-only for exactly this reason - a pool deck holds a fraction of what a club holds, so the room is small on purpose. Grab a ticket the second you know the date.
Cabanas, Beds & Packages
Rolling as a group of four to eight? A cabana or daybed with a bottle is the move - shade, a home base, and table service all afternoon. Expect 5,000-10,000 baht for the setup, split between everyone. Solo or a couple? Skip it. Pay the entry, take your free drink, and live in the pool.
Drinks Once You're Inside
Budget around 250-350 baht for a cocktail or a tall beer. It's a hotel rooftop, so drinks are priced like one - fair for the setting, and still well below what a full club night would run you. Pace yourself in the sun and you'll spend maybe 800-1,500 baht on drinks across the day.
So Is It Worth It?
Honestly? Few cities on earth give you this. A curated afternoon - real house DJs, an infinity pool, a skyline - for a fraction of what the same thing costs in Ibiza, Vegas or Dubai. You're not paying for cheap. You're paying for access to something most people flying through never find.
Go if
You want sun, deep house, and a crowd that came for the music - not a bottle table.
Skip it if
You want a quiet swim. These are parties, the sound is big, and that's the point.
The Deep House One (Ours)
Full disclosure - we run one of these. Deep House Thailand teamed up with Bangkok Rooftops for a rooftop pool party series on top of Centara Grand at CentralWorld, dead center of the city. Deep house, afro house and melodic house from 3 PM to 10 PM - not the commercial EDM you get everywhere else - with BYAS, Cameron Glasgow, Dennis Gold and Wiwa on the decks.
The first time we did a rooftop-pool thing - six DJs, a pool, a skyline - people commented for weeks asking when the next one was. This is that, done properly.
