AY

About AY

AY is an Afro House-led DJ and producer with a recognisable sound rooted in soulful storytelling, organic percussion and deeply driving grooves.

He shapes each set as one continuous journey, with each track carrying the story forward. The mood unfolds and the energy builds gradually, drawing the crowd deeper and deeper into the groove. He weaves reworked House classics into that journey, honouring the music’s roots.

A marketer turned DJ, AY was born and raised in Hong Kong, has also lived in Shanghai, Tokyo and Singapore, and is now based in Bangkok. He is deeply connected to queer dance floors, where freedom and self-expression are celebrated.

He holds a residency at Le Du Kaan rooftop, where he shapes sunset journeys. In clubs, he builds momentum ahead of peak-time DJs.
